漁業署指出，中國大陸海事局官網18日發布軍事演習通報，19日至21日，每天清晨7時起至傍晚5時，在海南島東方海域進行軍事活動，已透過各系統提醒避開作業。
漁業署說，漁民已決定號召漁船在20日出發登太平島宣示主權，漁業署已經充分了解漁民反映的意見，但考量太平島是軍事管制區，仍要呼籲漁民登島應事前依規定完備申請程序。
漁業署呼籲，若台灣漁民在海南島周邊水域作業時，遭到其他國家的公務船追逐等情事發生，要立即向漁業通訊電台、海巡署及漁業署等相關機關單位通報，以確保安全。
漁業署說明，中國大陸本次軍事演習位置為海南島東方海域約35浬（A點：北緯19度20分、東經110度33分；B點：北緯19度20分、東經111度04分；C點：北緯18度40分、東經111度04分；D點：北緯18度40分、東經110度33分）。
漁業署已請各區漁會漁業通訊電台、漁業廣播電台加強廣播，呼籲、提醒台灣漁船避離中國大陸軍事活動海域，以維持航行作業安全。1050719
